Trainees have completed print courses across a range of  centres in India including Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and West Bengal. The material for these courses was produced in collaboration with the Guardian Foundation.

This was in addition to  television and journalism courses in these regions, as well as in Tamil Nadu. Local mentors graded the work with support from Trust project staff based in the region.

As well as English, these courses were made available in Hindi, Tamil and Bengali - a massive translation effort on behalf of both project staff and freelancers.

The modules cover a wide range of topics including features writing, interviewing children and investigative journalism.
